Children of Batman have celebrated April 23 With Tüpraş Batman Refinery Children’s Festival

The 11th edition of the Tüpraş Batman Refinery Children’s Festival, which has become a tradition, was organized for 1500 children aged 7 to 10.

Tüpraş, the leading industrial company in Turkey, continues to contribute to society through its social responsibility projects. Every year, the company celebrates April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day with the Tüpraş Batman Refinery Children’s Festival. This year marked the 11th anniversary of the festival, and it hosted 1500 children aged 7 to 10.

The festival was attended by students from schools in the Central district of Batman and the children of the company’s employees. The event was organized by Tüpraş volunteers in collaboration with the Batman Governor’s Office and the Provincial Directorate of National Education.

The Tüpraş Management Team also attended the event, which was hosted by Ahmet Bebek, the Manager of Batman Refinery.

The April 23rd festivities brought excitement to 1500 children. The team of volunteers, consisting of 30 Tüpraş employees, was supported by 70 volunteers from Batman and the Dicle Society Volunteers Foundation, along with the Education Unit of the Turkish Education Volunteers Foundation, as well as 70 teachers. The 1500 children, hosted in the entertainment zone within the Tüpraş Batman Refinery Facilities, celebrated April 23rd with amusement parks, animators, and various stage shows.

Over the past 10 years, more than 20 thousand children have participated in the celebrations of Tüpraş’s April 23rd Children’s Festival, which has been organized since 2008. The company continues to support social development within its region, in line with its commitment to being a responsible corporate citizen.
