Tüpraş, the Biggest Enterprise of Turkey In the research of Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) for “Top 500 Industrial Enterprises” of Turkey, Türkiye Petrol Rafinerileri A.Ş. (TÜPRAŞ) has ranked the first again as in the previous years. According to results of the research “Top 500 Industrial Enterprises” for 2015, TÜPRAŞ has ranked the first with an amount of 35 billion 437 million liras in sales from production, followed by Ford Otomotiv with 14 billion 732 million liras in the second rank and Arçelik with 9 billion 998 million liras in the third rank.
Tüpraş Gets the First Authorized Economic Operator CertificateThe first Authorized Economic Operator Certificate in Kocaeli was granted to our company by Eastern Marmara District Directorate of Customs and Trade. Authorized Economic Operator Certificate, which was planned in scope of “Easy Trade, Great Turkey” project in line with the mission “The Easiest, the Safest Trade” and put into practice by the Ministry of Customs and Trade, was given to our company at Yarımca Customs Directorate on April 13, 2016.
Tüpraş Wins the Awards of Energy Efficiency in Industry In SENVER, Project Contest for Energy Efficiency in Industry, which was held in scope of the 7th Energy Efficiency Forum organized by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources on January 14-16, 2016, our Batman Refinery ranked the first in SEVAP-2 category, Kırıkkale Refinery ranked the second in SEVAP-3 category, and İzmit Refinery ranked the third in SEVAP-3 Category.
With a total of 11 energy saving projects presented to the contest and an approximate investment of 27 million TL, we have achieved a yearly saving of 36 Million TL, a yearly reduction of 37 thousand TOE in energy consumption and a yearly decrease of 128 thousand tons of CO2 in greenhouse gas emission.
Aegean Region Chamber of Industry (EBSO) Award for Successful Industrial EnterprisesAccording to 2014 data from the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry (EBSO), Izmir Refinery ranked first in production-based sales with TL 13.9 billion; the Refinery also topped EBSO’s “Biggest Exporters” and “Biggest R&D Spenders” lists.
